At Avanti Restaurant, we bring together Italian tradition and the abundance of California’s Central Coast. Our seasonal menu features locally grown produce, sustainable seafood, thoughtfully sourced meats and poultry, fresh house-made pasta, focaccia, and desserts made in our kitchen.

Located on the Westside of Santa Cruz, Avanti is a neighborhood restaurant where seasonal ingredients, Italian cooking, and warm hospitality come together.

Our Menus

Our menu begins with what is fresh and in season.

We work with local farms, fishermen, and trusted purveyors to source beautiful ingredients from Santa Cruz and the surrounding Central Coast. From seasonal vegetables and sustainable seafood to quality meats and poultry, we let the ingredients guide our cooking.

Our kitchen makes fresh pasta, focaccia, sauces, and desserts in house, combining traditional Italian techniques with the ingredients and flavors of California.

Because we cook with the seasons, our menu evolves throughout the year—giving our guests something new to discover each time they visit.

Celebrate your next gathering at Avanti.

Our restaurant offers private and semi-private dining spaces for intimate dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, wedding celebrations, rehearsal dinners, and other special occasions.

The Garden Room

Our separate Garden Room offers a comfortable, intimate setting for private dinners and gatherings of up to approximately 32 seated guests.

Covered Outdoor Dining

For larger celebrations, our covered and heated outdoor dining area can accommodate groups of up to approximately 50 seated guests.

Custom pre-set menus are available, featuring seasonal dishes created around your event, dietary needs, and preferences.

Full restaurant buyouts may also be available for larger celebrations.
